MyRewards Program Terms & Conditions

1.Card member must accumulate a minimum of 500 points to be eligible for redemption of Reward Points in the MyRewards redemption program. 

2.Card accounts will be categorized for redemption on the basis of the type of HDFC Bank Credit Card.

3.If the Card member holds multiple HDFC bank Credit Cards, redemption requests cannot be made by pooling Rewards Points on different card accounts.

4.The Bank may at its discretion allow the Card member to use the FasTrac option. The Card member has the option to use the FasTrac option when redeeming the merchandise by paying the entire purchase value partly by points as indicated and balance by debit to the Credit Card account. The redemption must be done by sending the filled up redemption coupon to ‘Rewards Helpdesk, HDFC Bank Cards Division, P.O.Box No.8654, Thiruvanmiyur, P.O., Chennai-600 041′ or by dropping it in any of the HDFC Credit Cards drop boxes. Details of the FasTrac option will be published by the bank from time to time. The amount paid by debit to the Credit Card account will be treated as retail purchases attracting normal charges, and Reward Points, as applicable. The card account must have sufficient available credit limit to cover the purchase transaction as above under the FasTrac option. The amount debited to the card account will appear in the corresponding statement of account.

5.Rs 75 will be debited to the card account towards handling charges for all goods and services

6.Gift Vouchers (GV) may be applicable only in select cities and/or select stores, purely at the discretion of the concerned outlets. Before placing a redemption request, Card members are requested to check website for the valid outlet list displayed against Gift Vouchers

7.In case of redeeming Gift Vouchers, please use the vouchers within validity period mentioned on voucher. HDFC Bank will not be able or liable to seek extension from the Merchant.

8.HDFC Bank reserves the right to modify wholly or in part this program by any other program or terminate the program at any time without any prior notice to the Card members.

16.HDFC Bank reserves the right to substitute products/ gift vouchers in case of non-availability of any item(s) on the current catalogue without any prior notice to the Card members.

Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (abbreviated as CISCE) conducts the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education and the Indian School Certificate examinations for Class X and Class XII respectively.    In 1952, an All India Certificate Examinations Conference was held under the Chairmanship of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, Minister for Education. The main purpose of the Conference was to consider the replacement of the overseas Cambridge School Certificate Examination by an All India Examination. This set the agenda for the establishment of the Council.

In October 1956 at the meeting of the Inter-State Board for Anglo-Indian Education, a proposal was adopted for the setting up of an Indian Council to administer the University of Cambridge, Local Examinations Syndicate’s Examination in India and, to advise the Syndicate on the best way to adapt its examination to the needs of the country. The inaugural meeting of the Council was held on 3rd November, 1958.  In December 1967, the Council was registered as a Society under the Societies Registration Act, 1860.   In 1973, the Council was listed in the Delhi School Education Act 1973, as a body conducting “public” examinations.

    The Indian School Certificate Examination is an examination, through the medium of English, designed in accordance with the recommendations of the New Education Policy 1986, after a two-year course of studies beyond the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (Year 10) examination or its equivalent examination.

  • THE C.V.E (YEAR 12)

    The Certificate of Vocational Education Examination (CVE – 12) has been created as an examination, in accordance with the recommendations of the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) through the Joint Council of Vocational Education (JCVE) established under the National Policy of Education 1986. This examination can be taken by candidates after a two year course of studies beyond the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (Year 10) examination or its equivalent examination, through the medium of English.

    The C.V.E. course is intended to prepare candidates for specific vocations. Private candidates are not permitted to appear for these examinations.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (abbreviated as CBSE) is a Board of Education for public and private schools, under the Union Government of India. It was established 1929. Central Government Interest Subsidy Scheme for HDFC Bank Education Loans

 

In order to support students from economically weaker sections of the society, Department of Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India has launched an interest subsidy scheme. The MoHRD has appointed Canara Bank as the Nodal Bank for the Scheme.

You will need to fulfil the following criteria to be eligible for this scheme:

  • Approved courses: This scheme applies only for educational loans availed from Scheduled Banks for pursuing any of the approved courses after Class 12 in technical and professional areas from recognized institutes** in India under the Educational Loan Scheme of IBA.
  • Upper limit of income: You are eligible to apply for this scheme if your annual gross income from all sources (including income from parents and family) is at an upper limit of Rs 4.5 lakh. You must submit a certificate to this effect issued by authorized officers of the State Government.
  • Interest benefit: Full interest subsidy is available for the period of moratorium.
  • Time period: This scheme is applicable for the loan amount availed from April 01, 2009. For loans sanctioned before that, only amounts disbursed during the above period are eligible.

The Rajasthan Police Service was formed in the year 1951.  It is the law enforcement agency for the state of Rajasthan in India. The Rajasthan Police has its headquarters in Jaipur, the state capital. ELIGIBILITY 

 

Nationality :-

A citizen of India, or (b) a subject of Nepal, or (c) a subject of Bhutan, or (d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or (e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania ( Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar ), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Educational Qualification :-

  • Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university or equivalent
  • For Delhi Police SI Post – a valid Driving License for LMV(Motor cycle and Car) on the date fixed for Physical Endurance and Standard Tests.
  • All candidates who are declared qualified by the Commission will be required to produce all relevant Certificates such as Mark sheets for all the three years of Graduation/ Provisional Certificate/ Certificate of Graduation as proof of having acquired the minimum educational qualification, failing which the candidature of such candidate will be cancelled by the Commission. The candidates who are able to prove by documentary evidence that the result of the educational qualifying examination was declared on or before the cut-off date and he/she has been declared passed will also be considered to have met the required educational qualification.

 

Age Limit :-

 

  • For the post of Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police & CAPFs and Assistant Sub Inspector in CISF is 20-25 years.
  • The upper age limit for the post of Sub Inspector in CAPFs and ASI in CISF is relaxable for Central Government Civilian Employees as per extant Government order.
  • Candidates should note that only the Date of Birth as recorded in the Matriculation/Secondary Examination Certificate or an equivalent certificate will be accepted by the Commission for determining the age eligibility and no subsequent request for its change will be considered.

 

SALARY/PAY SCALE

 

  • Sub-Inspector in CAPFs :(Central Armed Police Forces)  The post carries pay scale of Rs 9300-34800 in Pay Band 2 with Grade Pay of Rs 4200 and is classified as Group ‘B’ Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial.
  • Sub Inspector(Executive-Male) in Delhi Police :  The post carries pay scale of Rs.9300-34800 in Pay Band 2 with Grade Pay of Rs. 4200 and is classified as Group ‘C’ by Delhi Police.
  • Assistant Sub-Inspector in CISF:  The post carries pay scale of Rs.5200-20200 in PB-2 with Grade Pay of Rs.2800/- and is classified as Group ‘C’.

 

SELECTION PROCESS

 

The SSC CPO Recruitment 2017 Selection Process consists of the following stages :

  1. Written Test.
  2. Physical Endurance Test/Medical Test.
  3. Personal Interview.

 

Written Test  : –  

  • The written test will consist of Two Papers Paper I and Paper II.
  • Questions in both papers will be of Objective Multiple Choice Type. Questions will be set in Hindi and English in Parts A, B and C of Paper I.
  • Deduction of 0.25 marks will be made for each incorrect answer marked on OMR Answer Sheet.
  • Note-I: The Commission reserves the right to conduct Tier I and/or Tier II Exam in computer based mode. The Commission also reserves the right to add an additional Tier in the scheme of Examination.
  • NOTE-II: Candidates are not permitted to use Mobile Phone, Calculator or any other electronic/electrical device for answering any paper (Test Booklets).
  • NOTE-III: Commission will place the answer keys of Paper-I and Paper-II on its website after the examination. Objections and claims if any, received within the time limit specified while placing answer keys will be examined by the Commission with the help of experts, if necessary, and the decision of the Commission will be final.

B. General Awareness: Questions in this component will be aimed at testing the candidates’ general awareness of the environment around him and its application to society. Questions will also be designed to test knowledge of current events and of such matters of every day observations and experience in their scientific aspect as may be expected of any educated person. The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighboring countries especially pertaining to History, Culture, Geography, Economic Scene, General Polity, Indian Constitution, scientific Research etc.

C. Quantitative Aptitude: The questions will be designed to test the ability of appropriate use of numbers and number sense of the candidate. English Language & Comprehension :  Questions in this components will be designed to test the candidate’s understanding and knowledge of English Language and will be based on error recognition, filling in the blanks (using verbs, preposition, articles etc), Vocabulary, Spellings, Grammar, Sentence Structure, Synonyms, Antonyms, Sentence Completion, Phrases and Idiomatic use of Words, comprehension etc.

HOW TO APPLY FOR SSC CPO SI RECRUITMENT 2017

 

  • All applications must be submitted online only from the official site www.ssc.nic.in.
  • All candidates who apply in response to the advertisement released by the CLOSING DATE will be assigned Roll numbers which will be placed on the website of the concerned Regional Office at least two weeks before the date of the examination.
  • A candidate must write his/her Roll number along with his/her name, date of birth and name of the examination while addressing any communication to the concerned regional office of the Commission. Communication from the candidate not furnishing these particulars shall not be entertained.
  • Admission Certificates (ACs) for the Examination indicating the time table and also venues of examination for each candidate will be placed on the website of the concerned Regional Office at least two weeks before the date of examination. It will not be sent by post.
  • If any candidate is unable to download his admission certificate for the examination one week before the date of examination, he/she must immediately contact the concerned regional/sub regional office(s) of the commission with details such as registration id, transaction id of SBI, copy of challan etc. for obtaining the admission certificates. Failure to do so will deprive him/her of any claim for consideration.
  • The photographs used by the candidates must be a recent, relaxed face, colour picture, against a light- coloured, preferably white, background.
  • Candidates should bring 3 passport size photographs for affixing it in the Commission’s copy of Admission Certificate in the presence of Invigilator, if required. Candidates not carrying photographs will not be allowed to appear in the examination. All India Police Salary Chart 2017-2018 after 7th pay commission

A police force is a constituted body of persons empowered by the state to enforce the law, protect property, and limit civil disorder.  Police forces are often defined as being separate from military or other organizations involved in the defense of the state against foreign aggressors.  In India the Police Forces is divided in two categories –  (i)  State Police Services  and (ii)  Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF).  

In this post we will discuss about both the police forces and the salary & allowances received by the officials of police department after the 7th Pay Commission as announced by Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar.

All India Police Pay Scale under 7th Pay Commission

 

I)  State Police Services

 

The State Police Services (Devanāgarī: राज्य पुलिस सेवा), simply known as State Police or SPS are police services under the control of respective state governments of the States and territories of India.  Each state and union territory of India has a state police force, headed by the Commissioner of Police (State) or Director General of Police (DGP). Each state is controlled by the Chief Minister and Home Minister. The state police is responsible for maintaining law and order in townships of the state and the rural areas.

The candidates selected for the SPS are usually posted as Deputy Superintendent of Police or Assistant Commissioner of Police once their probationary period ends. On prescribed satisfactory service in the SPS, the officers are nominated to the Indian Police Service.

Organisation

  • State Police is headed by an IPS officer in the rank of Director General of Police (DGP) or Commissioner of Police who is assisted by 2 or more Additional Director General of Police or Special Commissioner of Police.
  • State forces are organised into Zones which consists of 2 or more Ranges & each zone is headed by a Inspector General of Police (IG) or Joint Commissioner of Police.
  • Further Ranges consists of several districts & each range is headed by a Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) or Additional Commissioner of Police.
  • District of more importance is headed by a Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), while other districts are headed by a Superintendent of Police (SP).
  • In case SSP is heading the district, then he/she is assisted by one or more SP’s. If SP is heading the district then he/she is assisted by 1 or more Additional SP’s
  • Each district is divided into Sub-Divisions or Circles and will be under the command of a Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) or Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP).
  • Each sub-Division is made up of several Police Stations under the command of an Inspector of Police who in turn is assisted by Sub-Inspector (SI’s) & Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI’s). As per the various Indian laws, Sub-Inspector (and above) are the only officers who can file a charge sheet in the court.

Sub Categories of State Police

The following police forces comes under State Police –

  • Criminal Investigation Department
  • Metropolitan Police
  • Traffic Police
  • State Armed Police Forces

Allowances and Facilities 

Uniform  :  The State Governemnt provides uniform to all the officials from lower scale to Junior Scale to Senior Scale.

Kit Maintenance Grant  :  The officers receive kit maintenance grant from the Government to maintain their official equipments such as weapons and so on.

House Rent Allowances (HRA)  :  Basic allowances like HRA is given to all the gazetted officers and to some of the non gazetted officers.  Those who hold ranks higher than Junior Time Scale are provided with housing quarter to live.

Travel Allowances  :  Each of the officers receive travel allowances during their service periods.

Dearness Allowances (DA)  :  DA is given to all the senior level as well as junior level officers.  They receive the amount of DA on the basis of their monthly basic pay scale.

Other Allowances  :  The government also provides various other allowances such as footwear, horse saddle, other weapons like sword etc.

Pension  :  Every officer receives pension after retirement.  Also they get gratuity and medical facilities after retirement.

Car facility  :  Cars with Red Light is provided to the Senior Officers such as Deputy Commissioner of Police, Commissioner of Police, Asst. Commissioner of Police and such.

Salary of the State Police after 7th Pay Commission 

According to seventh pay commission, the salary of IPS officers has been hiked by 23.55 percent, allowance has been increased up to 63 percent.  In addition, there is an annual increment of 3 percent in annual salary.

Salary of the IPS officer in India is divided in to two Pay Bands which are Pay Band III and Pay Band IV.

Pay Band III IPS salary

Junior time scale

This is the starting salary for IPS officers with a grade pay of INR 5400 and salary range of 15,600 to 39,100 INR. This pay scale is valid until IPS officer gets promoted to the next post. Generally this pay scale is valid for assistant superintendent of Police (ASP) and deputy superintendent of police (DSP).

Senior time scale

Salary range remains the same between 15,600 to 39,000 INR, however grade pay is increased from INR 5400 for junior time scale to INR 6600 for senior time scale. IPS officers get this pay scale on their first promotion. This promotion is only in salary and there is no actual promotion made to the rank of IPS officer.

Junior administrative grade

Salary range remains the same between 15,600 to 39,000 INR. However, grade pay is increased to INR 7,600. This pay scale is for IPS officers who are at the rank of superintendent of police (SP) and  Deputy commissioner of Police(DCP). In this pay scale rank of IPS officer is also increased along with Pay Scale.

Pay Band IV IPS Salary

Similar to Pay Band III, Pay Band IV has four Pay Scales which are: –

Selection Grade

This Pay Scale has a Salary range of INR 37,400 to INR 67,000 and grade pay range of INR 8,700. IPS officer who gets promoted to this Pay Scale has now been promoted from Pay Band III to Pay Band IV. In addition, IPS officer also get a rank promotion which is Senior superintendent of police (SSP).

Super time Scale

In this Pay Scale, IPS officer gets an promotion in grade pay, which is now INR 8,900. In addition, there is also promotion in rank of IPS officer and now they are ranked at Commissioner of police and deputy inspector of police (DIG).

Super time scale

I know, name of this Pay Scale is similar to previous one and it has same salary range as well which is INR 37,400 to INR 67,000. However, it has a grade pay of INR 10,000. Rank of IPS officer at this Pay Scale is Inspector General of Police (IG).

Senior administrative grade

Salary range during this Pay Scale is INR 67,000 to INR 79,000. This pay scale is achieved by IPS officers during their last stage of IPS career. During this stage, they are usually at rank of commander for CBI, RAW and IB. This is usually the time when majority of IPS officers are ready to retire or are nearing to retirement phase.

7th Pay Commission Salary, Pay Scale, Pay Band for Central Armed Police Forces

 

The Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) (Hindi: केंद्रीय सशस्त्र पुलिस बल) refers to uniform nomenclature of five security forces in India under the authority of Ministry of Home Affairs. They are the Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force(CISF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), and Sashastra Seema Bal(SSB).  There are 15 rankings in CAPF forces namely Constable, Head Constable, Assistant Sub Inspector, Sub- Inspector, Inspector, Major Subedar, Assistant Commandant, Deputy Commandant, Second In Command, Commandant, Deputy Inspector General, Inspector General, Additional Director General, Special Director General and Director General.

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection(IBPS) is an autonomous agency in India. It started its operation in 1975 as Personnel Selection Services (PSS). In 1984, IBPS became an independent entity at the behest of Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and Public Sector Banks. IBPS is envisioned as self-governed academic and research oriented Institute, with a mission of enhancing human-resource development through personnel assessment.

IBPS every year conducts a Common Written Examination (CWE) for the recruitment of officers and clerks in Indian banks.  IBPS CWE is  mandatory for anyone who seeks an employment in 29 public sector and Regional Rural Banks. IBPS periodically accepts exam applications from candidates at their website, and the exams are organized at various locations in the country in online mode. Aspirants have to go through an interview process after passing the online test. On the basis of the interview, candidates are placed in regional rural banks.

RECRUITMENTS THROUGH IBPS

IBPS announces each year positions in clerical, PO and SO posts in nationalized banks, State Bank and RRBs. Those meeting eligibility criteria have to apply online, register, pay the application fees, obtain the admit card and appear for preliminary and final common written exams (CWE) and then an interview (in the case of IBPS PO and IBPS SO) before a selection panel. IBPS announces dates for submitting applications, dates for the exam and thereafter dates for the interview and also intimates selected candidates.

COMMON WRITTEN EXAMINATION (CWE)

  • IBPS CWE is one among the most competitive examinations in India with a selection ratio of 1 out of 200. Candidates receive the date and venue of the exam via a call letter, which will be available for download a few days after they register at the IBPS website. The exam uses negative marking for false answers.
  • As of 2015, the process has changed to a two-tier system. Tier I is an easier exam where a larger number of candidates are expected to pass, and tier II has a higher level of difficulty. Candidates who pass both stages of CWE will be called for the interview.
  • The exam syllabus covers topics such as reasoning, general awareness, English language, quantitative aptitude, computer knowledge and professional knowledge.

 

IBPS PROBATIONARY OFFICER (PO)

 

IBPS Conducts PO Exam every year once for recruit officers in various banks and The selection will be processed by two levels first is Common Written Exam (CWE) and Second is Interview. All participants must have to qualify both levels with good performance.

 

  • Selection Procedure are classified in 3 phases, Phase 1 preliminary Objective Test, Phase 2 mains Objective Test and Phase 3 interview.
  • Preliminary exam conducts in October and mains exam conducts in October month or next month in November and interview conducts in January.
  • For Appearing in IBPS PO, Candidate must have pass the graduation in any discipline, There is not any percentage criteria for IBPS PO Exam.
  • The minimum age must be 20 while the maximum is 30 years.
  • There are also some age relaxation based on the applicant’s category.

IBPS CLERK 

 

IBPS every year releases Notification for Common Written Examination.  Applications are invited from the eligible candidates from the official site for the recruitment of Candidates in clerk posts.  Many job aspirants apply for this examination.  The exam is conduucted in two phases (i) Preliminary examination and (ii) main examination.  Those who qualifies both the phases are called for interview.

Negative Marking :
