Probationary Officer (PO)

Qualification : Candidates who are applying for the post must have completed there graduation (with 60% marks) from any recognize university/board.

Age : The age of the applicants must be between the age of 20 to 28 years of age.

Head Analyst

Qualification : Post-Graduation in any discipline from an accredited college or university in India /Overseas with experience in quantitative studies.

Experience : 15 + years of work experience.

Age : not more than 40 years.

  • Full time MBA / Full time PGDBM / Full time PGDM with specialization in Finance / CFA/ ICWA/ CA, 4 Years degree (Graduation) in B.Sc, M.A. Economics or M.Sc. Statistics/M.Com, – 4 – year Engineering/ Technology Degree in respective branches,PhD/MS  from a recognized university/ reputed institute of the respective State.

Age Limit :

  • JMG/S-I: Lower age limit is 23 years and upper age limit is 30 years
  • MMG/S-II: Minimum of 25 Years and maximum of 32 years
  • MMG/S-III: Minimum age to apply is 28 years and maximum age to apply for this Bank of Baroda So Recruitment is 40 years
  • SMG/S-IV: Minimum age to apply is 28 years and Maximum age to apply is 40 years

Relaxation in age :

The candidates form the reserved categories have the following relaxations in age limits –

  • Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe: 5 years

Sweeper cum Peon

Head – Analytics :  The selection of the candidate will be based on Personal Interview.

Specialist Officer : The selection process will comprise of –

  • online written test, for the post of Scale I, in the discipline of Fire and Planning, followed by GD/Interview of the shortlisted candidates.
  • For the posts in Scale II, Scale III & Scale IV applications will be shortlisted and candidates will then be called for GD/interview.
  • However, for Scale II and Scale III, if the number of eligible applications received is large, then Bank reserves the right to hold an online written test also.
  • Bank may, at its discretion, consider conducting of Psychometric Test / Group Discussion for different scales.

Sweeper and Peon :

Selection will be only through the mode of examination (offline/ online) strictly on merit. The structure /syllabus of the examination which will be conducted offline/ online for Sweeper cum peon / Peon is as follows :

Probationary Officer (PO) : 

Candidates shall be selected by BOB through a selection process consisting of an (open) online exam followed by Psychometric Assessment, Group Discussion & Interview.

(I)  Candidates are required to obtain a minimum score in each test and also a minimum total score in the online test to be shortlisted for Psychometric Assessment, Group Discussion & Interview. Candidates will be shortlisted for Psychometric Assessment, Group Discussion & Interview depending on the number of vacancies, cut-off in each test and total marks secured in the online test as decided by the Bank.

(II)  Wrong answers in objective test will attract negative marks (1/4th of marks assigned to that question) for the online test.

Psychometric Assessment, Group Discussion and Personal Interview : 

  • The aggregate marks of candidates qualifying in the Online Test will be arranged in descending order in each category and the candidates in the order of merit, subject to 4 times the number of intake in each category, will be called for Psychometric Assessment, Group Discussion and Interview. The qualifying marks in Psychometric Assessment, Group Discussion & Interview will be as decided by the Bank.
  • The Psychometric Assessment will be qualifying in nature. The final merit list for selection will be on the basis of performance in Online Test (objective + descriptive), Group Discussion (GD) and Interview.The topics to be covered in this section are
    • Data Interpretation [ Bar Graph, Pie Chart, Table, Line Graph, Radar Chart, Mixed Graph]

    • Data Sufficiency
    • Quadratic Equations

Clerk Selection Procedure : 

Depending on the marks scored in IBPS exam and also marks scored in the written examination of Bank of Baroda, the management of this bank will call the candidates for the personal interview. Selection percentage of the candidates will be 1:4 (General Category) and 1:5 (Reserved Category) for the Personal Interview. Candidates’ attitude, communication level, personality, problem solving ability, knowledge/proficiency in over languages and etc.
