  • A certification in computer course for minimum three months OR
    Information Technology or related paper as one of the subjects at
    graduation level or afterwards.

II)  Officers in General Banking Stream

a)  Officer Credit (JMGS I)  :  Candidate having B.com  degree(3 year full time programme) with min 60%  marks along with MBA/PGDBM/PGDBA from  institute of repute (two/three year full time programme) (candidates appearing in the final year of examination of

EXAM PATTERN :

In order to test the basic aptitude and intelligence level of aspirants, and to provide a level playing field to aspirants from different educational backgrounds, bank entrance tests are typically conducted as aptitude tests. They test your IQ, concepts learnt in school and your general awareness levels. They are different from tests that you take in school or college in the following respects:
  • The questions have a problem followed by multiple-choices (as answers). You need to read and solve the problem and mark the most appropriate choice.
  • The steps involved in solving the questions do not give you marks. You get marks only if you mark the correct option. Also, if you mark more than one option, you do not get marks.
  • You get penalized if you mark the wrong answer.
  • Each section in the test may have a separate cut-off.  You need to get some minimum marks in each section to qualify for the next stage of the bank recruitment process.
  • There is no fixed syllabus for such exams. While the broad areas from which questions can be asked are known, no question is generally considered “out-of-syllabus”. You have to keep this in mind and prepare for aptitude tests. However, you can identify the most common areas by solving previous year question papers(or sample papers) and taking sufficient mock tests.
The commonly tested areas are:

Note :  Dearness Allowance, HRA, CCA, Medical Aid, Reimbursement of Hospitalization expenses, Leave Fare Concession etc. and Perquisites like Conveyance, Quarters, Furniture etc., depending on the place of posting shall be available as per rules.

Application Fee  : Candidates should have to pay Rs. 600/- for all others (Rs. 100/- [Intimation charges only] for SC/ ST candidates) through online.

Selection Process  :  The selection shall be by way of Short-listing/Test + Group Discussion + Interview basing on the applications received for individual posts.  (The On-line Test, GD and Interview will be held at identified centers. The centre & address of the venue, time & date for Test / Group Discussion and Interview will be informed to the shortlisted candidates through e-mail and candidates have to attend for the same at their own cost. Candidates are advised to check Bank’s website for details and updates of this project.)

Identity Verification  :
While appearing for the Test / GD / Interview, the candidate should produce original and a copy of the photo identity such as PAN Card / Passport / Driving License / Voters Card / Bank Pass Book with Photograph / Photo embossed Credit Card / Aadhaar Card for verification. If the identity of the candidate is in doubt, the candidate will not be allowed for Test /GD / Interview.
