INDIAN ARMY PERMANENT COMMISSION RECRUITMENT (TECHNICAL ENTRY SCHEME COURSE)

 

Indian Army has recently issued a notification and have invited applications from the  unmarried Male Candidates who have passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics  for the grant of Permanent Commission in the Army after four years of Basic Military Training and Technical Training.  The Online Application registration start from 8th November 2016 and close on 7th December 2016.

Educational Qualification : Only those candidates who have passed 10+2 Examination or its equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 70% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized education board are eligible to apply for this entry. Eligibility condition for calculating PCM % of various state / central boards will be based on marks obtained in class XII only.

Age Limit  :   A candidate must not be below 16½ years and above 19½ years on the first day of the month in which the course is commencing i.e. the candidate should not be born before 01 Jan 1998 and not after 01 Jan 2001 (both days inclusive).

Stipend / Pay and Allowances  : The candidates will be given a stipend of ₹ 21,000/- p.m. (₹ 15,600/- as pay in Pay Band plus Grade Pay of ₹ 5,400/-) as is admissible to NDA cadets on completion of 3 years training. On completion of 4 Years training they will be commissioned in the rank of Lt and entitled to pay as admissible to the rank.

Selection Process  :

(a) Candidates will be shortlisted based on cut% applied as decided by the Rtg Dte.
(b) Shortlisted candidates will be intimated via e-mail /sms regarding their
Selection Centre allotment.
(c) Once Selection Centre has been allotted, candidates will select their SSB dates on first cum first service basis by logging on to respective Selection Centre links forwarded via e-mail.
(d) Short listed candidates will be put through Services Selection Board (SSB) interview at Bhopal, Bangalore or Allahabad. Interviews will be held in Aug/Sep 2016 onwards.
(e) Duration of SSB interviews is five days. During their stay at SSB, Candidates are put through Psychological Test, Group Test and an Interview.
(f) Candidates will be put through stage – I of the selection procedure on the first day. Only successful candidates shall be retained for balance of the testing. Candidates who fail to qualify in stage – I, will be returned on the first day itself, Stage I are psychologically originated test including intelligence test.
(g) Successful candidates at the SSB will be required to undergo medical test lasting 3 to 5 days less Sundays and gazetted holidays.
(h) Candidates recommended by the SSB and declared medically fit, will be appointed for training in the order of merit, depending on the number of vacancies available.
(i) The finally selected candidates will execute all the Bonds/Certificates as prescribed for the Cadets of NDA entry under Al 53/78.
(j) Candidates appearing for SSB interview for the first time for a particular type of commission shall be entitled for AC III tier to and fro railway fare or bus fare including reservation cum sleeper charges within the Indian limits. Candidates who apply again for the same type of commission will not entitled to travelling allowance on any subsequent occasion.

MEDICAL STANDARDS :

  1.  Eye Sight (i) The minimum distant vision should be 6/6 and 6/9 of both eyes without correction i.e. without wearing of glasses.
  2. The candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and they should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.
  3. A colour blind person will not be eligible for appointment. If any stage of service career, a person is found to be colour blind, he will be boarded out as per SHAPE policy in vogue.
  4. Tattoos :  Any candidate with a small engraving/tattoo of name or religious symbol on the inner face of the arms or hands is permitted for recruitment. Candidates having permanent tattoo on any part of the body will be debarred for recruitment.

Trade Test/Skill Test will be of qualifying in nature. There shall be 3 stages of Bio-Metric intervention in the entire selection process.

Specialist : Eligible candidates will be required to appear for a personal interview and on selection would undergo medical examination before joining the services of the company.
