Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL) is a Public Sector Undertaking engaged in mining of coal and allied activities. It occupies an important place in as much as it produces bulk of the coking coal mined in the country. BCCL meets almost 50% of the total prime coking coal requirement of the integrated steel sector. Remuneration and Other Benefits  :

Selection process  :

a) Written Test : Candidates will require to appear in a written test comprising of Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions containing Two Section : Part-A- General Awareness Test (25 Marks), Part-B- Professional Aptitude Test ( 75 Marks)

b) The language of the test shall be bilingual, i.e. English and Hindi.

c) The test shall be conducted by using OMR sheets. Candidates are advised to make themselves well versed with the use of OMR Sheet.

d) Original Documents verification : Shortlisted candidates who qualify in the written test shall be called for original documents verification as per available vacancies at the relevant period.

e) Initial Medical Examination : The selected candidates will have to undergo medical examination by the Company’s Authorized Medical Board and the final appointment / joining will be subject to declaration of Medically Fit by the Company’s Medical Board only.

Age Limit : Applicants should have minimum of 21 years and maximum of 30 years for Post(4), 25 years for Post(5), 18 – 25 years for Post(6 to 10). Age relaxation to the reserved category candidates will be applicable as per govt rules.

Essential Qualifications  :

I)   Professor  –  1) Bachelors and Masters Degree in appropriate branch of Fine Art or equivalent with First Class or Equivalent either in Bachelors or Masters Degree from a recognized University. 2) Ph.D or equivalent in appropriate discipline.

Desirable – Post Ph.D publications and guiding PhD students.

Experience – Minimum of ten years teaching/research/industrial experience out of which at least five years should be at the level of Associate Professor. Or Minimum of thirteen years experience in teaching and/or Research and/ or Industry.

II)   Assistant Professor  –  Bachelors and Masters Degree in appropriate branch of Fine Art or equivalent with First Class or Equivalent either in Bachelors or Masters Degree from a recognized University.

III)   Associate Professor  –  1) Bachelors and Masters Degree in appropriate branch of Fine Art or equivalent with First Class or Equivalent either in Bachelors or Masters Degree from a recognized University. 2) Ph.D or equivalent in appropriate discipline.

Desirable – Post Ph.D publications and guiding PhD students.

Experience – Minimum of five years teaching/research/industry out of which two years post Ph.D experience is desirable.

IV)    Mechanic Grade B   –   1) 10th pass 2) At least three year experience in the trade such as : (a) Lithographic Prtg (from stones and zinc plates).   (b) Intaglio Prtg including prtg of other different graphic techniques.       (c) Maintenance of various machines etc pertaining to different prtg work Desirable : Approved certificate in the trade.

V)     Carpenter   –  1) 8th Pass, 2)Experience of carpentry for at least two years particularly in the manufacturing of frames and fixing of canvas etc.

VI)    Moulder   –  1) Certificate/Diploma n metal casting from a recognised institute 2) Knowledge of metal casting in lost wax process including preparation of moulds, repair and patination of casting 3) Two years’ experience in the profession of same field.

VII)    Attendant & Peon   –   Middle pass Preferably with English.

VIII)   Dark Room Attendant  –  1) 8th Passed 2) Preferably about one year experience of working as Attendant in Dark Room.

IX)     Gest Operator    –   1) Middle Pass with English 2) Knowledge of Handling Duplicating Machine.

Age Limit: Candidates age should be below 45 years for S.No-1 to 4 & 6, Between 18 years to 45 years for S.No-2, Between 18 to 45 years for S.No-5 as on 01-01-2016. Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Recognized Medical qualification included in the first or second schedule for S.No-1, degree in Civil Engineering or its equivalent from an Institution/ University duly recognized by the Central/ State Government for S.No-2, BE/ B. Tech. and ME/ M. Tech. in the relevant branch of Engineering with First Class or equivalent for S.No-3 & 4-a to f, Bachelor and Master’s degree for S.No-4-g, professional degree in Law or its equivalent from any recognized University for S.No-5, B.E. (Fire Engineering) Degree from the National Fire Service College, Nagpur or at least graduation from a recognized University for S.No-6 with relevant experience.

Selection Procedure : 

Recruitment board of HPPSC will shortlist the suitable applicants based on their consideration of their performance in the below mentioned selection rounds.

Screening Test/Examination/Viva voce test –

(i) In cases where the number of eligible candidates for recruitment to the post(s) advertised by the Commission is inordinately large, the Commission may limit / shortlist the number of eligible candidates to be called for interviews by subjecting them to a screening test (objective-type / descriptive) of two hours duration. Final selection of a candidate will be made solely on the basis of his/her performance in the viva-voce test/ interview, which will be of maximum 100 marks. The minimum pass marks in interview are 45 for the candidates of general category and 35 marks for the candidates of reserved categories.

(ii) Where selection is to be made on the basis of performance of the candidates having qualified the screening test, before the interview board, a candidate scoring more marks in the interview shall be placed above the candidates scoring lesser marks in the interview. If the candidates will score equal marks in 11 an interview, then a candidate securing more marks in the screening test will be placed above the candidate securing lesser marks in the screening test. In case the marks of screening test are equal then the candidate who is senior in age will be placed above the candidate junior in age. Where selection is to be made purely on the basis of performance of the candidates before the interview board, a candidate scoring more marks in the interview shall be placed above the candidates scoring lesser marks in the interview. If the candidates will score equal marks in an interview, then a candidate who is senior in age will be placed above the candidate junior in age.

Application Fee: Candidates should pay Rs.400/- for General Category (Rs.100/- for SC/ ST of H.P) through e-Challan or through e-Payment option. No fee for Ex-servicemen of H.P/ Blind of H.P/ visually Impaired of H.P.

How to Apply for HPPSC Medical Officer Recruitment 2016

a) Desirous/ eligible candidates must have to apply online through official website of the Commission www.hp.gov.in/hppsc. Applications received through any other mode would not be accepted and summarily rejected.

b) The candidates, who wish to apply for more than one post, should apply separately for each post and will have to pay the requisite examination fees for each post in the prescribed manner.

c) After submitting the Online Recruitment Application(s) (ORA), the candidates are required to take a printout of the finally submitted Online Recruitment Application and submit the same along with requisite attested documents / 7 certificates in support of their eligibility to the Commission on the day of Screening Test for the concerned post.

d) In case the candidate has applied against more than one item i.e. post published in the advertisement, the candidate is required to submit separate copies of requisite attested documents/ certificates along with the printout of the Online Recruitment Application of each post on the day of Screening Test for the respective posts.
