EMACET 2016 –  ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA  :-

NATIONALITY

  • Candidates should be of Indian Nationality or Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders.
  • Candidates  should  belong  to  the  state  of  Telangana/Andhra  Pradesh.
  • The  candidates should  satisfy  local  /  non–local  status requirements  as  laid  down  in  the  Telangana/AndhraPradesh  Education  Institutions  (Regulations  of  Admission)  order, 1974 as subsequently amended.

QUALIFICATION

  • For Engineering – Bio-Tech, Dairy Technology, Agriculture Engg, and half seats in B.Pharm, B.Tech-Food Science and tech., candidates should have passed or appeared for final intermediate examination (10+2 pattern) with Science stream along with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry/biology as optional. Also, candidates who have passed or appeared in the final year of Diploma examination conducted by the State board of Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana or equivalent examination recognized by the board shall also be eligible to the course. Candidates should have minimum 45% of marks ( 40% for reserved category).
  • Candidates appearing for Engineering and pharmacy courses should have completed 16 years of age as on the 31st December of the year of admission.
  • For MBBS/ BDS/ BAMS/ BHMS/ BNYS courses– Candidates should have obtained 50% marks together in physics, Chemistry and Biology (40% for reserved category) in the intermediate examination. Candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on the year of examination. However, there is no maximum age limit for admission into BAMS/BHMS/BNYS.
  • For B.Pharmacy course (remaining 50 % seats)– Candidates should have obtained at least 45% marks ( 40% for candidates belonging reserved category) in the 10+2 pattern examination. Candidate should be 16 years of age as on 31st December of year of admission with no upper age limit.
  • For Pharm-D course (50% seats for M.P.C and 50% seats for Bi.P.C candidates)- candidates should have obtained an aggregate of at least 45% marks(40% for reserved category) in 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics .
  • For B.Sc (Ag)/ B.Sc (Hort)/ B.V.Sc & A.H/ B.F.Sc and 50% seats in B.Tech(FST)/ B.Sc (CA & BM) courses: Candidates should have appeared/ passed the 10+2 pattern examination with any two/three subjects as indicated against each course:

a) For B.Sc (Ag.) and B.Sc. (Hort.): Physical Science/ Biological Sciences/Agriculture/Vocational Course in Agriculture. (any two)

EAMCET 2016 – SYLLABUS :-

EAMCET syllabus will include in three major subjects as Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The candidates should have a thorough knowledge in order to crack the EAMCET 2016.

Eamcet Physics syllabus

The topics from Physics, which can be asked in EAMCET 2016 examinations, will be as physics world, units and measurements, elements of vectors, dynamics and kinematics, centre of mass, frictions and collisions, elasticity, gravitation and fluid mechanics.

Eamcet Chemistry syllabus

The chemistry will cover the topics as atomic structure, classification of elements, chemical bonding, molecular structure, states of matters, periodicity in properties, solutions and electrochemistry.

Eamcet Mathematics syllabus

The main topics which will include in mathematics syllabus will be as numbers, trigonometry, algebra, probability, vector algebra, calculus, and co-ordinate geometry.

EXAM PATTERN :-
AP EAMCET is an objective type, multiple choice exam. There are a total of 160 questions and each question carries 1 mark. The questions are based on the following subjects- Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The mathematics section consists of 80 questions while the physics and the chemistry section consists of 40 questions each.

ADMIT CARD :-
The candidates can direct download their admit card through the official website of the board. To get the admit card on the prescribed time given by the board in the notification, the candidates would have to visit the site and navigate the link for “Download admit card”. Click on the link and enter your registration number, qualifying exam admit card number and your stream then submit it and get the print out of the hall ticket.
RESULT :-
After the successful completion of the examination the board will declare the EAMCET results 2016 on the prescribed date announced by the board. The qualified candidates will be called for the EAMCET counselling 2016.
AP EAMCET COUNSELLING 2016 :-
The candidates those will qualify the EAMCET 2016 will avail the counseling process conducted by the JNTU, Kakinada. The EAMCET 2016 counseling process will be done in two phases as documents verification and counselling round. The document verification will play an important role which may lead the disqualification on the basis of incomplete or unsatisfactory documents. In the counseling round, the candidates may choose their college priority in descending order. The admission will be provided on the basis of rank, priority and seats available in the desired college. The candidates should be available or reached in time at the prescribed centre for EAMCET 2016 counseling along with the required documents.

CDS 1 2017 exam preparation tips online – Previous year test paper with solution keys

The “Combined Defence Services”Examination (CDS) is conducted twice a year by the Union Public Service Commission for recruitment into the Indian Military Academy, officers Training Academy, Indian Naval Academy and Indian Air Force Academy. The Notification for the examination is usually released in the months of October and June, and the examinations are conducted in February and November respectively. Only unmarried graduates are eligible to sit for the exam. Successful candidates are admitted into the respective Academies after an interview conducted by the Services Selection Board (SSB).

Every year UPSC releases notifications for the Combined Defense Services Examination.  Recently also the UPSC has released a EXAMINATION NOTICE NO.2/2017.CDS-I  on 9/11/2016.  The online application were invited from the eligible candidates for CDS I Exam.  The exam is going to be held on 05/02/2017.

General instructions about written examination

  • The papers in all the subjects will consist of Objective (multiple choice answer) Type questions only.
  • SI units will be used in the papers and Candidates should use only International form of Indian numerals (i.e. 1,2,3,4,5,6 etc.) while answering question papers.
  • Commission have discretion to fix qualifying marks in any or all the subjects of the examination.
  • Candidates are not permitted to use calculators for answering objective type papers (Test Booklets). They should not, therefore, bring the same inside the Examination Hall.

 

STANDARD AND SYLLABUS OF THE EXAMINATION

 

STANDARD –  The standard of the papers in Elementary Mathematics will be of Matriculation level. The standard of papers in other subjects will approximately be such as may be expected of a graduate of an Indian University.

 

SYLLABUS – 

 

ENGLISH (Code No. 01) The question paper will be designed to test the candidates’ understanding of English and workmanlike use of words.

GENERAL KNOWLEDGE (Code No. 02) General Knowledge including knowledge of current events and of such matters of everyday observation and experience in their scientific aspects as may be expected of an educated person who has not made a special study of any scientific subject. The paper will also include questions on History of India and Geography of a nature which candidate should be able to answer without special study.

ELEMENTARY MATHEMATICS (Code No. 03)

ARITHMETIC Number System —  Natural numbers, Integers, Rational and Real numbers. Fundamental operations, addition, substraction, multiplication, division, Square roots, Decimal fractions. Unitary method, time and distance, time and work, percentages, applications to simple and compound interest, profit and loss, ratio and proportion, variation.

Elementary Number Theory — Division algorithm. Prime and composite numbers. Tests of divisibility by 2, 3, 4, 5, 9 and 11. Multiples and factors. Factorisation Theorem. H.C.F. and L.C.M. Euclidean algorithm. Logarithms to base 10, laws of logarithms, use of logarithmic tables.

ALGEBRA –  Basic Operations, simple factors, Remainder Theorem, H.C.F., L.C.M., Theory of polynomials, solutions of quadratic equations, relation between its roots and coefficients (Only real roots to be considered). Simultaneous linear equations in two unknowns—analytical and graphical solutions. Simultaneous linear inequations in two variables and their solutions. Practical problems leading to two simultaneous linear equations or inequations in two variables or quadratic equations in one variable & their solutions. Set language and set notation, Rational expressions and conditional identities, Laws of indices.

TRIGONOMETRY –  Sine ×, cosine ×, Tangent × when 0° < × < 90° Values of sin ×, cos × and tan ×, for × = 0°, 30°, 45°, 60° and 90° Simple trigonometric identities. Use of trigonometric tables. Simple cases of heights and distances.

GEOMETRY –  Lines and angles, Plane and plane figures, Theorems on (i) Properties of angles at a point, (ii) Parallel lines, (iii) Sides and angles of a triangle, (iv) Congruency of triangles, (v) Similar triangles, (vi) Concurrence of medians and altitudes, (vii) Properties of angles, sides and diagonals of a parallelogram, rectangle and square, (viii) Circles and its properties including tangents and normals, (ix) Loci.

MENSURATION –  Areas of squares, rectangles, parallelograms, triangle and circle. Areas of figures which can be split up into these figures (Field Book), Surface area and volume of cuboids, lateral surface and volume of right circular cones and cylinders, surface area and volume of spheres.

STATISTICS –  Collection and tabulation of statistical data, Graphical representation frequency polygons, histograms, bar charts, pie charts etc. Measures of central tendency.

INTELLIGENCE AND PERSONALITY TEST

The SSB procedure consists of two stage Selection process – stage I and stage II. Only those candidates who clear the stage I are permitted to appear for stage II. The details are:-

(a) Stage I comprises of Officer Intelligence Rating (OIR) tests are Picture Perception* Description Test (PP&DT). The candidates will be shortlisted based on combination of performance in OIR Test and PP&DT.

(b) Stage II Comprises of Interview, Group Testing Officer Tasks, Psychology Tests and the Conference. These tests are conducted over 4 days. The details of these tests are given on the website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in. The personality of a candidate is assessed by three different assessors viz. The Interviewing Officer (IO), Group Testing Officer (GTO) and the Psychologist. There are no separate weightage for each test. The mks are allotted by assessors only after taking into consideration the performance of the candidate holistically in all the test. In addition, marks for Conference are also allotted based on the initial performance of the Candidate in the three techniques and decision of the Board. All these have equal weightage. The various tests of IO, GTO and Psych are designed to bring out the presence/absence of Officer Like Qualities and their trainability in a candidate. Accordingly candidates are Recommended or Not Recommended at the SSB.

How to Get Admission:

The admission procedure of taking admission in  government engineering colleges in India is challenging to those students who are passionate about technology and machines and want to be a virtuous engineer. For becoming a virtuous engineer, the students have to crack some entrance exams like:

What is JEE Main and JEE Advanced?

Joint Entrance Exam Main (JEE) is an All India Common Entrance Exam conducted by CBSE Board for admission to engineering colleges across India. It is conducted in two phases – JEE Main and JEE Advanced.

The IITs and ISM grant admission based on the results of JEE Advanced. The NITs, IIITs and other central or state funded institutes grant admission based on JEE Main. Students are eligible to write JEE Advanced only if they clear the cut off marks in JEE Main. Also, IIT JEE is considered as one of the toughest exams in the world. Over 14 Lakh students appear every year and only 20,000 get a rank.

Eligibility for JEE Main

  • All the Indian citizen candidates should possess AADHAAR card issued by UIDAI. At the time of filling application form of JEE (Main)–2017, the candidates will have to enter their AADHAAR number, name, date of birth & gender which will be validated with the UIDAI’s data. In case, these particulars do not match, the candidates will not be able to fill the application form for JEE (Main)–2017.
  • Candidates whose date of birth falls on or after 1st October, 1997 (for general and OBC candidate) are eligible to apply. If candidates belong to reserved category like SC, ST and PwD category, then the date of birth falls on or after 1st October, 1987 are eligible for JEE main application. Candidates note down that date of birth mentioned in the Secondary Education Board/University will be considered only for appearing in the exam.
  • Candidates appearing for JEE Main 2017 must has passed class 12th with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics in order to apply. However For admission to IITs, NITs, IIITs & CFTIs candidates must have secured at least 75% in their class 12th board exams (65% for SC/ST students ).
  • No board marks will be taken into account for calculating JEE Main score from the year 2017 onwards.
  • Candidates who have passed 12th class or equivalent exam in 2015 or 2016 (not before 2015) are eligible to apply for this exam. If a candidate appears in 12th or equivalent class in 2017 are also eligible for JEE Main 2017. APSCHE EdCET Examination 2016 Apply Online for AP B.Ed Entrance Test

Andra Pradesh State Council Of Higher Education abbreviated as APSCHE is also known as the Directorate of Government Examinations. It was established in 1953 and functions as an autonomous body under the Andhra Pradesh Department of Education.  Ed.CET is an common entrance test will be conducted by Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupathi on behalf of APSCHE to get admission into regular B.ED courses in the colleges of Andhra Pradesh.   The candidates should have obtained a Degree from any university in Andhra Pradesh or a recognized university outside Andhra Pradesh for entry in to B.Ed. courses into University / Government / Private colleges.  If a Candidates wants to seek  admission into B.Ed Course he/she should appear in a Common Entrance Test.  EdCET 2016 will be conducted on 23rd May 2016.  We have provided all the details of EDCET 2016 in the below page.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION :-

The eligibility criteria for admission into B. Ed. Courses shall be as mentioned below :

(i)  The candidates should be of Indian Nationality and should satisfy the Local / Non-Local status requirements as laid down in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulation of admissions) Order, 1974 as subsequently amended for admission into Category A seats in Un-Aided Colleges of Education and for all seats University Colleges.

(ii)  The candidates should have obtained a Degree from any university in Andhra Pradesh or a recognized university outside Andhra Pradesh for entry into B.Ed. courses into University / Government / Private colleges.

(iii) Candidates who have passed the qualifying examination i.e., B.A. / B.Sc. / B.Com / B.Sc (Home Science) / BCA / BBM with an aggregate of 45% marks and above are alone eligible for admission into B.Ed. course. However, in case of SC / ST candidates a mere pass is sufficient.

(iv) Candidates possessing B.E. / B.Tech. / M.B.B.S. / Ag.B.Sc / BVSC / BHMT / B.Pharmacy and such other professional and job oriented Degree courses like LLB are not eligible for admission into B.Ed course. Candidates possessing a Master Degree without having undertaken undergraduate study are not eligible for admission.

(v) Candidates should have obtained a rank either in EdCET or EdCET- AC conducted for the academic year concerned and should satisfy the eligibility qualifications prescribed as below for each methodology.

   Mathematics    :    Candidates with B.A. / B.Sc with Mathematics as one of the       group subjects and BCA candidates with Mathematics at Intermediate level as a group subject.

 

   Physical Science    : Candidates with B.Sc., who have studied Physics and Chemistry or allied material sciences under Part-II group subjects and BCA candidates with Physical Sciences (Physics and Chemistry) at Intermediate level as group subject.

 

 Biological Science    :    Candidates with B.Sc / B.Sc (Home Science) who have studied Botany and Zoology or allied life sciences under Part-II group subjects and BCA students with Biological Sciences at Intermediate level as group subject.

 

   Social Studies    :  

All candidates with B.A. /B.Com /B.B.M /BCA students with Social Sciences at Intermediate level as group subject.

 

(vi) Candidates belonging to “OC” and “BC” communities shall secure 35% marks (53/150) in Ed.CET/ Ed.CET-AC to become eligible for admission. However there shall be no minimum qualifying marks in respect of SC / ST candidates for allotment of seats under their own respective categories and there shall be no minimum qualifying marks in respect of Women candidates who appeared for Mathematics / Physical Science subjects for allotment of seat.

Note :  The candidates belonging to SC/ST communities ,Women candidates who appeared for Mathematics / Physical Sciences, shall secure the minimum qualifying marks of 35% i.e. 53 marks out of 150 in the EdCET / EdCET-AC to claim a seat under NCC /Sports and Games / Physically Handicapped/Children of Armed Personnel quota.

AGE LIMIT  : Candidates should have completed the age of 19 years as on 1st July of the academic year concerned.

METHOD OF ADMISSION :-

(i)  The admissions shall be made in the order of merit on the basis of the rank assigned in the EdCET/ EdCET-AC and to the extent of sanctioned seats.

(ii)  The percentage of admissions into the four methodologies shall be as follows:
(a) Mathematics Methodology : 30 %
(b) Physical Sciences Methodology : 15 %
(c) Biological Sciences Methodology : 25 %
(d) Social Studies Methodology : 30 %

SELECTION PROCEDURE :-

The selection of candidates and allotment of methodology / Institutions shall be done only on the basis of merit as adjudged by the rank obtained in the EdCET subject to the condition that the candidate should have passed the qualifying examination.

APPLICATION FEE :-

The tuition fee for Government/University/Aided Private colleges varies from Rs 2700/- to Rs 13500/- and a special fee of Rs 3000/- . Fee shall be paid by the candidate at the college along with the allotment letter. The processing fee for SC/ST candidates is Rs 200/- and Rs 400/- for others (non – refundable).

EXAM PATERN :-

part  1:  General English consists of 25 questions with 25 marks.

part 2 :  General knowledge and teaching aptitude, General knowledge consists of 15 marks and 10 marks for teaching aptitude.

part 3 : contains 100 questions of 100 marks.candidate has chance to choose any one of the subject from mathematics, biological sciences (botany, zoology),English, physical science (physics, chemistry) and social studies (geography, history, civics).

AP EDCET ADMIT CARD 2016 :-

Students who have applied for the EDCET Exam can get the EDCET Exam Hall Ticket at the official site. You can download the EDCET Admit Card 2016 probably in the month of May 2016.

EDCET Result 2016 :-

AP EDCET Results 2016 will be announced by AP Government once the valuation of AP EDCET 2016 Exam is completed. Students who have attended EDCET Exam conducted by SV University can check the results at the official site.

AP EDCET COUNSELLING :-

The Counselling will be conducted by Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education.  The Counselling will be start after 15 days from the declaration of Result.  The counseling rounds will be commenced from the month of July 2016.
1.  Those Candidates who get high rank in CET will be individually invited to appear in counseling.
2.  Candidates have to register themselves for counseling.  The Candidates have to visit the web page www.apedcet.org and fill the registration form.
3.  The Candidates have the options of Colleges in which they want to take admission for B.Ed. Programme.  The Candidates have to submit Colleg’s Options.
4.  In Counseling rounds the Seats and Colleges will be allotted among the Candidates.
