EMACET 2016 –  ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA  :-

NATIONALITY

  • Candidates should be of Indian Nationality or Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders.
  • Candidates  should  belong  to  the  state  of  Telangana/Andhra  Pradesh.
  • The  candidates should  satisfy  local  /  non–local  status requirements  as  laid  down  in  the  Telangana/AndhraPradesh  Education  Institutions  (Regulations  of  Admission)  order, 1974 as subsequently amended.

QUALIFICATION

  • For Engineering – Bio-Tech, Dairy Technology, Agriculture Engg, and half seats in B.Pharm, B.Tech-Food Science and tech., candidates should have passed or appeared for final intermediate examination (10+2 pattern) with Science stream along with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry/biology as optional. Also, candidates who have passed or appeared in the final year of Diploma examination conducted by the State board of Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana or equivalent examination recognized by the board shall also be eligible to the course. Candidates should have minimum 45% of marks ( 40% for reserved category).
  • Candidates appearing for Engineering and pharmacy courses should have completed 16 years of age as on the 31st December of the year of admission.
  • For MBBS/ BDS/ BAMS/ BHMS/ BNYS courses– Candidates should have obtained 50% marks together in physics, Chemistry and Biology (40% for reserved category) in the intermediate examination. Candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on the year of examination. However, there is no maximum age limit for admission into BAMS/BHMS/BNYS.
  • For B.Pharmacy course (remaining 50 % seats)– Candidates should have obtained at least 45% marks ( 40% for candidates belonging reserved category) in the 10+2 pattern examination. Candidate should be 16 years of age as on 31st December of year of admission with no upper age limit.
  • For Pharm-D course (50% seats for M.P.C and 50% seats for Bi.P.C candidates)- candidates should have obtained an aggregate of at least 45% marks(40% for reserved category) in 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics .

EAMCET 2016 – SYLLABUS :-

EAMCET syllabus will include in three major subjects as Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The candidates should have a thorough knowledge in order to crack the EAMCET 2016.

Eamcet Physics syllabus

The topics from Physics, which can be asked in EAMCET 2016 examinations, will be as physics world, units and measurements, elements of vectors, dynamics and kinematics, centre of mass, frictions and collisions, elasticity, gravitation and fluid mechanics.

Eamcet Chemistry syllabus

The chemistry will cover the topics as atomic structure, classification of elements, chemical bonding, molecular structure, states of matters, periodicity in properties, solutions and electrochemistry.

Eamcet Mathematics syllabus

The main topics which will include in mathematics syllabus will be as numbers, trigonometry, algebra, probability, vector algebra, calculus, and co-ordinate geometry.

EXAM PATTERN :-
AP EAMCET is an objective type, multiple choice exam. There are a total of 160 questions and each question carries 1 mark. The questions are based on the following subjects- Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The mathematics section consists of 80 questions while the physics and the chemistry section consists of 40 questions each.

ADMIT CARD :-
The candidates can direct download their admit card through the official website of the board. To get the admit card on the prescribed time given by the board in the notification, the candidates would have to visit the site and navigate the link for “Download admit card”. Click on the link and enter your registration number, qualifying exam admit card number and your stream then submit it and get the print out of the hall ticket.
RESULT :-
After the successful completion of the examination the board will declare the EAMCET results 2016 on the prescribed date announced by the board. The qualified candidates will be called for the EAMCET counselling 2016.
AP EAMCET COUNSELLING 2016 :-
The candidates those will qualify the EAMCET 2016 will avail the counseling process conducted by the JNTU, Kakinada. The EAMCET 2016 counseling process will be done in two phases as documents verification and counselling round. The document verification will play an important role which may lead the disqualification on the basis of incomplete or unsatisfactory documents. In the counseling round, the candidates may choose their college priority in descending order. The admission will be provided on the basis of rank, priority and seats available in the desired college. The candidates should be available or reached in time at the prescribed centre for EAMCET 2016 counseling along with the required documents.
