The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) every year conducts the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main). The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is an all India common engineering entrance examination of objective pattern which is conducted for admission in various engineering colleges and courses all over the country. It is regarded internationally as one of the most challenging engineering admission tests. JEE consists of two parts, JEE Mains and JEE Advanced. JEE-Advanced is for admission to Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), and Indian School of Mines Dhanbad, an institute that will be converted to IIT, while the JEE-Main exam is for admission to Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), centrally funded technical institutes (CFTIs) as well as for admission to the dual degree programme of IIEST Shibpur. Only the students selected in JEE Mains are eligible for appearing in JEE Advanced. Over 150,000 students are selected each year.
Recently on 3rd April 2016 CBSE has conducted the 4th Joint Engineering Entrance Examination [JEE (Main)] at various examination centres across the country. The paper was conducted on Offline basis which consists of Paper 1 (B. E./B. Tech.) & Paper 2 (B. Arch./ B. Planning.). And now after the examination has been completed all the Candidates starts seeking for the Paper Solution so that they can easily analyze their question paper and estimate their tentative marks. We would like to inform all the Candidates that JEE Main Answer Key for 3rd April 2016 alongwith OMR Sheet will be uploaded soon on the official site i.e www.jeemain.nic.in . Candidates should download the Answer key for their code only. This year the code for JEE Main 2016 Question Paper are E, F, G and H. Many of the top coaching institutes like Aakash, Brilliant, Allen, Resonance, Bansal, FIIT-JEE etc are also publishing answer key of BE / Btech and B.arch / B. planning question paper, on their official websites for their students. So, Candidates can visit these Institutes’ websites for their Answer Sheet.
Details of Jee Mains 2016 Paper 1 & 2
The 4th Joint Engineering Entrance Examination [JEE (Main)] was conducted in pen & paper mode (Offline)on 3rd April 2016 (Sunday). In computer mode i.e Online Mode this examination will be conducted on 9th & 10th April 2016. The candidates are advised to visit the examination center a day before the conduct of examination to know the exact location of the center to avoid any delay in reporting at the examination center as per schedule.
