Lakshmi Vilas Bank was founded in 1926 by a group of seven  businessmen of Karur under the leadership of Shri V.S.N. Ramalinga Chettiar. The objective was to cater to the financial needs of people in and around Karur who were occupied in trading businesses, industry and agriculture. The bank was incorporated on November 3, 1926. They obtained the certificate for running there business in November 10, 1926. They are  spread over a network of 440 branches (plus 7 extension counters) with PAN India presence, supervised by 11 Regional Offices. They  have 820+ ATMs and deployed POS machines at various merchant establishments. They  have  asset size as on March 31, 2015 was to the tune of Rs.24,705 crores, with total income of Rs.2,498.57 crores. They have a mission to be a sound and dynamic banking entity providing financial services of excellence with pan-India presence.

MANAGER: Candidates who are applying for the post must have completed there post graduation from recognized university with at least 60% marks. Candidates should have at least 5 years experience in banking sector.

BRANCH MANAGER: Candidates who are applying for the post must have a degree in professional course with a minimum of 60% marks. They should have at least 10 years experience in banking sector.


FOR CLERK: Candidates who are applying for the post must be between the age of 18 to 27 years of age and should not be exceeding more than that.

FOR P.O: Candidates who are applying for the post must be between the age of 20 to 28 years of the age.

ASSISTANT MANAGER: Candidates who are applying for the most must be between the age of 30 to 40 years of the age and should not be exceeding more than that.

MANAGER: Candidates who are applying must be between the age of 35 to 40 years of age.

Quantitative Aptitude:- Questions will be asked from Simplification, Average, Percentage, Time & Work, Area, profit & Loss, Simple & Compound Interest, Time & Speed, Investment, HCF LCM, Problem On Ages , Bar Graph, Pictorial Graph, Pie Chart. Date Interpretation is the section which have to be focused.

General Awareness:- Questions will be asked from Indian Current Events, Banking, General Science, General Knowledge. Focus will be mainly on Current affairs of National & International news, Important dates, Current Science, Technology, Sports & Culture & Banking Sector. Some questions from Marketing can come in the exam.

Computer Awareness:- Basic of Computers, Computer Organization, Generations of computer, Input & Output Device, Shortcuts & Basic knowledge MS word, MS Excel, MS power point, Memory Orientation, Internet, LAN, WAN, Modem, Computer Abbreviations, Modern day Technology. Remember short cut Tricks of MS Word, MS Excel & Computer Abbreviations.
