ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA :

Nationality :  The candidates applying for any of the vacancies released by NTPC should be an Indian.

I)  ITI Trainee (Fitter, Electrician, Instrument Mechanic), Assistant Trainee  (Material/ Store Keeper), Lab Assistant (Chemistry).

Educational Qualification : 

  • For ITI Trainee Posts Candidates must possess ITI Certificate from Respective Streams issued by recognized University.
  • For Lab Asst Trainee Posts applicants should possess B.Sc. Degree with Chemistry/ Graduate in Industrial/ Applied Chemistry or equivalent.

Age Limit:

  • Applicants Age should not exceed 27 years.
  • Age relaxation is applicable as per the rules of Government.

 

II)  Engineering Executive Trainees (EET)

Educational Qualification :

  • NTPC EET jobs: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology/ AMIE with minimum 65% marks. Final year/ Semester students with minimum 65% marks are also eligible to take part in NTPC Executive Trainees Recruitment 2017.

Age limit :

  • Candidates upper age should be 27 years as on the last date of receipt of application.
  • Age relaxation is applicable as per the rules of Government.

 

III)  Head Of Safety / Advisor

Educational Qualification :

(1) Engineering Graduate in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Production or equivalent qualification with good academic records from a recognized University/ Institution.

(2) Must have experience of minimum 20 years in Industry preferably Power Industry; Compliance with safety regulations under the Factories Act; Should have first-hand experience in developing and implementation of Safety Monitoring & Auditing System; Exposure in Operation & maintenance as well as construction & erection of power plants would be an added advantage; Promotion of Safety consciousness amongst employees and examination of machinery, equipment and building from the safety angle; Experience of Organizing safety training, fire fighting and good co¬ordination skills to carry people along would be an added advantage.

Age limit :  Below 55 Years

IV)  Finance Executive, Safety Officer, Medical Specialists Posts, SAP-ABAP/ BASIS/ DC Operation [E3/E4], Medical(GDMO) [E2]

Educational Qualification & Experience :

Finance : Qualified CA or lCWA + Post qualification executive experience in the area of Accounts/ Finance/ Internal Audit preferably in a large organization/organization of repute.
Safety:  Graduate Engineering Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Production with at least 60% marks from a recognized University/Institution with full time Diploma in Industrial Safety from Regional Labour Institute/Institution recognized under the Factories Act/Rules or Degree in Engineering in Industrial Safety with at least 60% marks from a recognized University/ Institution. Post qualification experience shall be counted from the date a candidate has acquired the Degree in Engineering. + Working experience in compliance with safety regulations under the Factories
SAP-ABAP/ BASIS/ DC Operation:  Graduate Engineering Degree in Computer Science with at least 60% marks from a recognized University/Institution. Holder of valid SAP Professional Certificate in BASIS/ABAP from SAP Authorized Training Centre is required. Post qualification experience shall be counted from the date a candidate has acquired the Degree in Computer Science Engineering + Working experience in the field of IT/ABAP/BASIS.
Mines Survey : Diploma in Civil/Mining/Mines Survey. Holder of valid mine surveyor certificate of Competency or equivalent under CMR 1957. Knowledge of computer, Auto CAD, LDDT (Land Development Desktop), 3D Modeling etc. are desirable. + Working experience in the field of mine surveying desirable.
Medical : – MBBS from recognized University/ Institution. +Minimum 2 years experience/ practice after MBBS (Internship training shall not be counted as experience).
Medical Specialist (Medicine/Radiology) : MBBS with MD/MS in Medicine/Radiology. + For E3 level: Minimum 1 year experience/practice after MD/MS. For E2 level: Fresh MD/MS qualified doctor. For E2 level [Radiology]: Minimum 2years experience/practice after PG Diploma.


Age Limit :

  • Age Limit Should not exceeds for E1-E3  :  37 years & E4  :  42 years.
  • The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST;
  • 3 years for OBC,
  • 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules.

 

SALARY STRUCTURE :

  1.  For ITI Trainee Posts and Lab Assistant –  
    • Consolidated stipend Rs. 11500/- per month.
    • On successful completion of training, Pay Scale Rs. 11500-3%-26000/-.
  2. For Executive Trainees – Rs. 24900- 3%-50500 at the Basic pay of Rs, 24900/- during One-year Training.
  3. For Finance [E3/E4], Safety(E1/E2/E3], SAP-ABAP/ BASIS/ DC Operation [E3/E4],  Mines Survey [E1], Medical(GDMO) [E2], Medical Specialist (Medicine/Radiology) [E2/E3]  –  The salary payable is as follows :
    E1 : Rs. 20600-46500
    E2 : Rs. 24900-50500
    E3 : Rs. 29100-54500
    E4 : Rs. 32900-58000

 

SELECTION PROCEDURE :

ITI Trainee Posts and Lab Assistant

Applicants will be selected for the NTPC Assistant Trainee Jobs Based on the following test conducted by the National Thermal Power Corporation.

  • Written Examination.
  • Skill Test.

 

Executive Trainees

NTPC Engineering Executive Trainees Recruitment 2017 Selection will be based on :

  • Graduate Aptitude Test (GATE)-2017 Marks.
  • Online Aptitude Test.
