Uttarakhand Public Service Commission was established in the may,15 2001. They organize all the exams in the state government which are related to the government jobs. The working of Uttarakhand Public Service Commission is controlled by the Uttarakhand Public Service commission and is conducted by the Rule of the by the Business Rule Act,2013. It is the duty of the Union Public Service Commission, if requested by any two or more States so to do, to assist those States in framing and operating schemes of joint recruitment for any services for which candidates special qualifications are required in every posts. They decide what principles to be followed in making appointments to Civil Services and posts and in making promotions and transfers from one service to another. They also decide the suitability of candidates for such appointments, promotions or transfers.
They also have the duty to claim by or in respect of a person who is serving or has served under the Government of India .
